Shakeology
Why Shakeology? One, I did absolutely love the fact that I could have a chocolate shake every day for lunch. Although, since Cafe Latte came out....my new love has been changed. Two, I feel full after drinking it, and it actually curbs my junk food cravings. Don't get me wrong, I still partake in dessert now and then, but many times, I would prefer something healthier. Three, I can guarantee that I am having at least ONE healthy meal every day and feel great because of it.I could go on....This is a lunch that I can shake up at school and not spend tons of time preparing. I just grab it and am good. I can bring it to the copy machine for those last minute copies, to the meeting that was scheduled during my lunch, out to recess duty, continue drinking it while I teach 8th grade because I never got to finish my lunch at lunch time....you name it! I can sit and grade papers while drinking it and I can look at my coworker that is eating crackers with peanut butter for lunch and shake my head knowing that I will actually be full. It's easy, it tastes great, and it is actually healthy. THAT is why I drink it.

My favorite recipes:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Coconut Milk
a sprinkle of cinnamon
LOTS of crushed ice
1 scoop of cafe latte Shakeology
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Coconut Milk
a few pieces of fresh pineapple
LOTS of crushed ice
1 scoop of chocolate Shakeology
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Coconut Milk
a scoop of peanut butter
LOTS of crushed ice
1 scoop of chocolate Shakeology
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Coconut Milk
mint extract
LOTS of crushed ice
1 scoop of chocolate Shakeology
Banana Pancake Recipe:
4 eggs
2 bananas
1 scoop vanilla Shakeology
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup oats
vanilla
cinnamon
How to make the perfect Shakeology Shake!
Shakeology can be made in a blender, or in a shaker. Personally, I prefer to blend, so if you have a blender, start here. If you don't have a blender, there are directions for you, too.
Start with 8-12 ounces of cold liquid (water, almond milk, coconut milk, or a combination of the water and milk) Less liquid gives you a thicker shake, more gives you a thinner one.
Add about 6 ice cubes or crushed ice. If you add too much ice you'll make ShakeO ice cream, so be careful to find that "right" amount.
Add your Shakeology...and any other ingredients you may be adding.
BLEND until the ice is broken up.
No Blender? No Problem (I just prefer it blended)!
Start with 8-12 ounces of liquid in a large shaker cup (blender bottle or tupperware shaker, or just a cup with a lid)
Add your shakeology
SHAKE!! SHAKE some more! You want ALL of the powder to dissolve.
Add ice and enjoy :)
TIPS:
If you're using almond or coconut milk, avoid SILK brand. Some people have found that it does weird things when blended...like coming out like pudding.
