Fitness & Nutrition Accountability
(or what I like to call...Why Should I Share My Goals with You?)
In 2014, I realized I was tired of being so tired. I felt like my school work was consuming my entire life and taking away from my family. I was putting on weight and becoming grumpy. I started to make some time for myself by working out at home.
Don’t get me wrong, I had tried this in the past….and failed….a few times even. In fact, the first time I purchased an at home workout online, I got emails from someone who wanted to know my goals, "blah, blah, blah..." I didn't want someone knowing I had let myself gain 20 lbs and felt like crap! So I deleted the emails....tried doing it on my own...and failed.
But, this time, I had a group of others to check in with…I didn't tell them my weight or share my struggles, but I checked in....and actually made fitness a habit. Since then, I have improved my nutrition and continued on my fitness journey, both of which have made me much happier, more efficient with my work, more comfortable in my own skin and not so sluggish and tired!
